Gale (bbalbaby) was kind enuff to open his house to whoever wanted to come watch the OSU/USC game...see here http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=21480

Well...since I am on vacation this week Jen and I figured why not...It was the second "event" that we have been too since I started this journey into the world of cigars...Gale and his wife are wonderful hosts...And Gale had his cooler all prepped and ready to go...I can honestly say the man is a Pete Johnson/Pepin ho lol...Holy cow!!!!...He was kind enuff to gift me with 2 tat blacks...And numerous other smokes...one of which I smoked last nite...and I was thoroughly impressed with it...I was also able to meet eldorado2 (Dan) another brutha from here as well...As well as numerous members of Gale and Meghan's family and friends...The food was amazing...the smokes were great...and the hosts were outstanding...Jen and I only wished that we had been able to stay longer...We definitely look forward to being able to more with you in the future...As well as more opportunities to meet other botl/sotl on the board as well...Thank you for opening your house to us...I only wish that OSU had been able to win for ya...But alas even my beloved ASU lost by 3 last nite...The dirty dogs lol...Len

I had a great time last night Gale. Thank you for the Tat Black and letting us come to your house. I have never smoked 4 cigars in a night before. You, your wife, and family are great hosts. The food was excellent too!

Sorry guys, not a single pic. Not quite sure how that happened. My best guess would be that this was more of a bona fide "party" than a "herf". It was a party where there happend to be a few herfers. It was kinda of crazy for me...trying to mingle with everyone and be a proper host. My mom and dad hung out with all the grandkids waaaay too long, almost until game time, which only added to the chaos and therefore, the lack of pictures.

Len_T and Elderboy were kinda harasses me jsut before the game about not smoking any cigars. I told em to just hang on for a few minutes and i'd get rollin', once all the kids left and things settled down a bit. I think i probably lit my first one aorund the 2nd quarter, which was about the same time i started losing hope. In the course of the next 3 quarters i put down a Cab Guapo, a Cojonu 2006, and a Red label Victorias. I followed it up after everybody left with a Partagas Tubo.

Glad you guys could make it up. it was a blast and we'll most certainly do it again. I think i'm gonna think about throwing a bona fide herf where it's all about eating and smoking, and not watching a football game. Not so many people next time either.
