Padron Family Reserve no 85

Hey guys,

With all of this monster talk, these have seemed to slip under the radar. Have anyone picked any of these up? I wonder how these will compare to the other Family Reserves?

Smoked 2 maddies yesterday and I gotta tell ya they are the best Padrons I think I have ever had.

Call Craig (Craigmac) at Emersons. They have them in stock.

Good cigar, strong in the first half, then gets quite mellow in the 2nd half...Very little spice or pepper throughout...Great construction, draw and burn, flavors are good, but fairly one dimensional...noticeably smaller vitola then both the 45th and 46th...

Better then the 46th and 44th, not as good as the 45th...

$200 a box, we got a few boxes of Maduros in and sold through them pretty quick, think we have a 5er left and review was posted on our blog last week :nodlaugh:

$20/stick is good pricing. Didn't realize why the reduced cost until the box arrived and saw their size.

The 45th is probably my favorite stick of all time so these will have some big shoes to fill if they are going to beat those. I will definitely be watching my local B&M to try a couple.

Not that the 45,46 were big, but I do enjoy some smaller cigars when my time is tight. Glad they didn't follow the trend, and make it a 7x80

Hmmm...Haven't smoked a Padron in a Looooooong time! Just to much coin but I loved the 46th the best. Guess I may have to find this one and give it a go.

Great smoke! Tried the maduro last week and loved it. Got a box of naturals a few days ago, and may try one this weekend.
