Thanks to the many tips I received in my other thread, this range outing was a HUGE success. A large number of things contributed to improved accuracy but the biggest was not waiting so long to fire. The first time I was trying so hard to line up my sights that I'd over think the shot, get jumpy, then anticipate the bang. This time as soon as my sights were on target I squeezed out a round. My shots are no longer 6'' low like before. With more practice I think I can have tight groups in no time.

Rounds: 25
Distance: 10 yards
Style: Calm relaxed shots with breaks

Rounds: 21
Distance: 8 yards
Style: 7 round bursts starting with an unracked slide and gun on table.

Thought that might be where you went. I bought my pistol at Firepower in Matthews
.

Never been to the one in Belmont but heard a lot about it.

I've only been shooting once since buying mine and that was at my in-laws farm near Kings Mountain. I need to go releave some stress, lol.

Yup, I've been there too. Very nice range and I think it's actually a little cheaper, but after work the traffic from University area that way is awful so I just go right down I-85.

Great job. My holes all tend to be left. So I have a lot of work to do.
