IMO this is by far and away the best Flying Pig blend - the taste and proportions are just perfect... They will be more expensive having just looked over the final costings, but I think those who are fans of this oddball will feel like they got a better value when they buy a box of these.
In bold is the part that is 100% correct. Cigar just feels better, not awkward like the Pig normally has been. Flavor-wise, well that's all subjective.

MUWAT is a fantastic manly smoke. Don't knock the size until you have tried one. I know some guys aren't into larger sized cigars but these are an experience and if you are a fan these are a must try. JD & Steve are on a roll producing hits. I have to say I love them all.
I think it’s fair to say that larger ring gauges are not for everyone. For me the smoke could be one of the best blends ever, but if I have to sit for 2 hours with a 60rg in my mouth, I will not enjoy it as much as a 48rg. Just my experience. I will however still try one of these.

And subjectively I love it... Kinda figures though... This is why I like it when other people write reviews of the LP blends because of course I think they are righteous. If I didn't they wouldn't be Ligas.... <shrug>

I am like a crackhead when it comes to the LP lines... and I don't want no damn 12 step... I want a lighter bi'atch! ;>

For the record, the Feral Pig, even in the condition I had it in... was my favorite flavor in the Pigs. Can't wait to see what a few months in the Liga closet did to them.

Want to try MUWAT but 6 by 60 is just to big for me to really enjoy does anyone know the ring size of the next shipments.
I personally I'm not a fan of the 6x60 but this cigar is an exception....it is great in that size in my opinion! :cbig:

Feral Flying Pigs SHOULD start hitting the stores in November and we have batches slated for deliveries in Dec, Jan and Feb...

The blend is so righteous we are right now working the tobacco schedule to see if there is anyway to make the FFP an ongoing vitola even if it is in a really limited capacity.

Disclaimer: This is my very biased opinion. You may think the cigar sucks... And well, you will just be wrong... <snicker>

Regretfully Ratzilla is a victim of T52's sucess for the moment... the line was so immensely popular we went through all of our fermented capa quicker than anticipated in 2010 and the pilones we were expecting to be fully fermented in early 2011 from the 2009 Harvest were not ready so a huge delay resulted on everything wrapped with our Stalk Cut Habano.

We could have cut some corners, but it would of been at the expense of the blend, so we just kept working the leaf and stopped making T52 and Dirty Rats for the first half of 2011.

We were able to begin production again mid-year which means we SHOULD be releasing T52s and DRs back into the states in Januay 2012. No guarantees though except that if we are not please with them, we will ship nothing without additional aging.

Until we get T52 and DR fully back on track and flowing steady into the states every month, we just cannot release another Stalk Cut Habano capa wrapped blend into the market so Ratzilla is for now on indefinite hold.

BR,

I see and that makes sense too. One of the reason I like the Liga line so much and don't mind paying for it i because I know you all refuse to cut corners with it. I know when I buy one its the best it can be or it wouldn't be there. As much as I want a Ratzilla I can wait for them, its no biggie.

I heard JD mention this in an interview a couple months ago and since than have been pining away for these as the 9 Pig was awesome so if these are going to be a bumped up version than it's going to be off the charts!

Silly question but, are Muwats unbanded? I picked up a couple and they didn't have bands and just seems strange to me.

I have been on backorder for some of these since early Aug. Glad to see they are finally started shipping them out. I hear good things even from people who don't particularly like big RG's like myself.
