Monolith 1200ct

I am getting to the point where I need to buy a cabinet I think. I have about 400 sticks and find my self buying boxers more lately and just don't have the room.

I have a 300, 50, 20 and 2 tuppawear right now.

I really like the Monolith, its nice and clean looking. But I also like the fact that you can set the specific temp and RH and just let it run. The only down side is the price point 1800 is a a lot of good cigars. I do have some extra cash now that I have a roommate so thats really tempting me.

I wanted to see what everyone here thinks. Does anyone have this? If so how do you like it? Do you have any other suggestions?

I don't want to go the coolidor route I don't really like the look of a cooler sitting in my place.

Wait on the monolith type purchase until after your a homeowner.

Buy a wine fridge. You can install an electronic temp control and order custom made drawers & shelves. Total cost would a lot less than the monolith.

For what its worth, I looked up the monolith and the thing looks sweet! Sure there are cheaper options, but that humidor makes you a real baller!

You an also keep your eyes open for a used unit, could save a bunch that way. For new, I've looked at Avallo before and I think they seem top-notch.

Craigslist. I found a guy selling his humidors and picked up two nice cabinet humis, 2000 count each with one cigar oasis humidifier for $900. Admittedly a once in a lifetime deal but they're out there. Keep your eyes peeled and you may find what you want cheap.

I've looked at that monolith for months. Too expensive. I'm making my own for a quarter of the cost and it will look very sharp. have the shelves made by golfnut.

My next purchase will be an avallo just for boxes. Just my opinion.
