I thought it was about time I shared my holiday purchases with you all. I now have the usual problem that i have run out of storage space. Firstly thanks go to maverickdrinker who gave me a list of the custom rollers in havana.

The first picture is of the Boxes i purchased, i tried hard to find this years releases but I'm told they will on the shelves in December if your really lucky.

I did find a P1 jar and the noella jar

The second picture are some custom rolled from 3 different rollers.

We have cigars from Reyaldo at the Hotel Conde de Villneuva, Miranda at the Melia Havana Hotel and 50 from Enrique Mons.

The Reynaldo cigars are in a cabinet hidden behind a picture at the back of the shop.

Enrique is a lovely guy with a fabulous shop and so so patient and helpful.

The two ladies who run the Melia shop are also worth a mention, providing me with a free sample of Miranda's "behike" for me to try while i wandered around the humidor. They also phoned roun checking the availability of this years releases and the demonstration of how to check the draw on a cigar was very Hugh Grant / Devine Brown . (So pleased SWMBO was at the bar !!)

So it was a great holiday that was rounded off by SWMBO accepting my marriage proposal :togetherl:

Nice pickups man... I think Canada has a 50-cigar limit before taxes, what does the UK have? Or did you have to sneak some home?

Well that is 50 per person and it is never a good idea to try and sneak them in as if they catch you lying then you are screwed. My standard is the old I bought them on the beach for $1 a stick. Playing dumb seems to be the best way of getting through with more.

Yeah still cringe at the thought J. Our customs agents here are usually pretty friendly and forgiving when I pass through but we don't really have any crazy rules like you guys do. Again I am guessing that they all shake their heads when I am done going through saying that poor simple man is excited about his fakes.
