Recently, I've spent a couple of days in Savannah, where I found the Savannah Cigar Store. I bought two cigars of their own brand.

One Savannah torpedo:

and one funny little item called "The Footsoldier":

the construction is not quite perfect, but maybe that was the look they were going for. If it smokes okay, I certainly won't complain.

Does anyone know where these are made? And what are they like? I guess I'll see that for myself sooner or later, but any tips on how long I should age them will be greatly appreciated.

Was this cigar store a little place off of w congress street, one block over from city market and about 2 blocks down from paula deans place?

I'm thinking it is?

Regarding your question, if you really wanted to know I could stop in and ask. The husband/wife that run/own the store are very nice.

That's the one. I forgot to ask them, where their cigars are made (or by whom).

I was in Savanah a few weeks ago...Stopped by the "Ye Old Cigar Shop" talk about OVER FLIPPING PRICED!!! $10 for a Nub...It was insane.
haha - yeah they are bad too. They are right above river street on east bay. Very, very bad!

I did not want to say it but the stores are for the tourists.

Believe it or not on Hilton Head where I live there are a few B&M's that are great. One has a fuente account and charges msrp for opus and the other has a sweet tat account with the same deal.

If anyone is ever on Hilton Head give me a shout for more info or to meet up for a smoke.
