Man O War Virtue paired with a delicious cappuccino (made with a fresh roasted blend of Brazilian & Mexican coffees). The cigar is very mild, but has just enough spice, creaminess & body to have my full attention.

Javaman, how does that Virtue compare to the Ruination? I love the ruination, however, I have been reticent to try the Virtue since it seems so much lighter.

I've only smoked 2 Ruination's in my young (~3 month old) cigar smoking career (I really enjoyed both of them). The Virtue is MUCH more mild, but is still a very good stick - creamy, slight spice, mild wood notes. I seem to enjoy the Virtue for a nice, lazy weekend morning smoke & the Ruination more as a night, after a big meal smoke. Both very good for totally different reasons, IMHO. The Virute is definitely worth a try though - I got a 5 pack of Salomon's through CI's "Make Me An Offer" deal for $30.00 shipped, so all in all, I am happy with the purchase.

Thanks. With that description, I think I might just have to pick one up.

Gonna enjoy sharing a few Padron 64 imperial maduros with my very close friends watching football today. Should be a great day full of drinks and smokes!

Ahhh Sunday AM sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and the dog. The stars have aligned perfectly and family are still in bed. Cool but Sunny here in NE. Pick this AM is the Ashton VSG Tres Mystique. Perfect!
That sounds great! Nothing like cigars and coffee on a Sunday morning.

Started with a MUWAT but dumped it half way through. Hard to get smoke. Hard to keep lit. Just did not do it for me. Switched to an Epi #2. Happy now.

Very good descriptions. The Virtue is your standard Connecticut Shade cigar, albeit an excellent one. The Ruination is something else entirely.
