I love these little buggers. Been smokin' them since they came out. This vitola is the only one of the line that I truly love. The others are good, but the flavors just shine through with this fat little dude. Is this just my imagination or can one cigar shape and size really make the huge improvement I experience with these?

Yes. Size and shape do matter. But it's different for every person. For instance I really like the DPG Blue Toro size, especially with a year of rest on 'em. Not that I don't like the Firecrackers...I do, but I think the flavors develop more in the larger size. Just my $0.02 :dunno:.

Yes the size and shape does affect the taste, even your choice of cutting style can affect what you taste from a particular cigar. Which size is better for a particular cigar all comes down to taste and preference.
Of course size matters, and if she says different she's lying

heavyd, we should meet up and trade a few sometime. i, like dan, enjoy them in larger vitolas... the churchill and the beli are some of my all time faves. a box of the belis just landed on my doorstep last week; i can't wait for these to rest up.

I agree with everyone else, its all about personal preferance. I would like to know if they are just a bigger blended stick that they just made in a shorter size, or if they are blended just for that size vitola. From what I understand is that a cigar is blended for each size vitola, so they might have got it just right for your taste.

This is weird, I just gave out my last one to Surfrod over the weekend, it had a little over a year on it, and I had mentioned that I need to buy another box to squirrel away. Time to call David, thanks for the reminder.
Related question: Does anyone know if firecrackers are a limited run or if they will always stock them at 2guys? They are always in stock when I order, but I'm wondering if that stock is replenished or if they are just selling their initial run. Time for me to shoot 2guys an email perhaps..
