That's quite the nice cabinet, and I usually don't like light color woods.

So... when do we get to see the inside, and the super secret product?

Matt is working on it. One last step with the Accumonitor engineer, and it will be ready to go.

Matt is working on a fan timer. I know it might not be a big deal to most, but Matt and I set out to make the ultimate fan timer for cigar cabinets. All I can say is that it will be have features that you won't see on any other fan timer.

What features can there really be on a fan timer? They turn on... they turn off... am I missing something?

Depends on what you want it to do. Thoughts on what else could be added are easier adjustments for times. Independant settings for multiple fans so upper fans may go on more or less often then lower fans. Temp dependant adjustments so the warmer it is the more often the fans turn on. All depends how much of a control freak you are as what options you will want in one.

this fan timer that Matt is working on will be able to control up to 8 of our regular, or 4 higher output circulation fans. With 4 of the higher output fans running for just 1 minute, they will move around approx 100 cu ft of air. A triple d is about 35 cu ft, so you can see what kind of job this timer will do.

each fan will be able to controlled seperately. so you could have one fan off, another running for just a minute per hour, and 2 others running for 5 minutes per hour.

this type of setup should be a huge help for those with cooled cabinets. having some airflow on the correct spot can help prevent condensation problems.
