Just bought this..

Was out with my fiance doing some shopping and as usualy when we passed the winefridges I slowed down and started talking with the salesguy and I saw in the corner of my eye my fiance stopped, started to walk towards us and just stod there besides me and started to listen to the sales guy......she looked at me and said..."what the hell..lets buy it".:hearteyes......that guy wouldnt match the price to another store (wich almost everybody does in Sweden) so I came home, placed the order online and will get it delivered home for less money :stretchgr

As my fiance said...this will be our christmas present to eachother.....damn thing cost 2 K so I dont mind :smile:

Hmm.....Jadawin got me started worring, the fridge has a compressor = it will go to war with my beads trying to keep it humid.

You have a couple of options with a compressor...

1. lots and lots of beads spread out
2. an accumonitor and a fair amount of beads

my 35 bottle uses a compressor and it fairs a-ok. just a bit of condensation on the back wall that you need to keep an eye out for.

the other alternative is to cancel the order and buy one with a thermoelectric cooling system, but that will cost you quite a bit more, at least last I checked.

What is Ambient temp where it will be stored. If you are only dropping a few degree's it shouldn't have to run too too much. Lots of beads and good air movement may be enough. Also as long as you store everything in boxes that will help mitigate the the effect on the cigars. I also put a Humidipak in most boxes I plan to store for a long time.

I plan o run 19-18 celsius and I think it is 20-24 in our apartment most of the time, I dont need to have it on during the winter only the summer but in that case it feel I dont need to buy something for that much money to run it 3 months per year.

I think having the climate control provides great peace of mind :thumbsup:

you should be fine. I'd go with a good amount of beads or with some beads and a small active system.
