Howdy folks. I was 'round here ages ago, when I was in law school, 'n then I gave up on the stogies for a while. Much time has passed, I've moved to New York City, I've taken up cigarettes again and put them back down and picked up the cigars--a much more pleasant experience all 'round. Anyway, look forward to chatting with all you fine gents as time permits.

Cheers!

Re-welcome!
So, what cigars are you smoking?
Well now, I just "finished" a Henry Clay breva ala conserva. "Finished" because it was too damn cold for me to nub it... but Henry Clay was my first ever cigar, so it's got a bit of nostalgic value for me--and it was damn fine enough for my simple palate, cold be damned.

I've had a bit of this and that lately, and goodness knows I kinda went crazy the other night at CI and filled up the brand new coolidor with just about everything--things I remembered liking, things that caught my eye because they were cheap, and things I liked because they were lonsdales, my favorite non-figurado shape. (And a shape that gets not nearly enough love!) But I've just recently discovered a special spot in my heart for Tatuajes... went to Hudson Bar and Books here with the girlfriend the other night and nubbed one, and I bought it 'cause I'd had another back in Cincy that'd left an impression on me. Apparently I'm meeting the GF's family this Christmas, and apparently GF's bro and dad like cigars... so unless the local B&M recommends otherwise, I'm gonna show up on the doorstep with three Tats and a spirit of good cheer. (And even if the B&M recommends otherwise, there'll at least be one Tat for me!)
