clearing an ipad

Anyone know how to clear out browising history and apps, etc. from an ipad if I want to sell it? Thanks for the help.

If it's the same for iPhone, then go to settings and hit safari, on bottom is clear cookies, history, data.

For removing an app, press and hold over apps until they start shaking. Hit the "X" and remove it. To stop the shaking apps, hit the home button.

Yup. You could also restore it in iTunes as well

I'll second the restore in Itunes. Restoring it to factory settings and not from a previous back up you might have.

It's a first generation, not sure of the model.

First generation says a lot about it. The other two things to describe it are storage (16gb, 32gb, or 64gb) and if it has the 3G cellular internet or not. I think all of that is on the back. Ours says 64GB there, not sure where 3G would be stated.

If it has a black plastic little band at the top on the backside it's a 3G one.
