Okay, this was inspired by the "New Year's Cigar Resolutions" thread. Does anyone have a "special" cigar they are saving for the new year? I have a PSD4 that I think I'll either ring in 2012 or at least be the very first smoke of the new year. Just curious what others are doing? Most people have one or several sticks, but doesn't there come a point where your need to actually enjoy them, either a because of a milestone birthday, graduation, promotion, or my favorite, because I can :)

I'm the same way - never really sure, hell, sometimes I'll change my mind after I pick something out & then I'll head back to the humidor to select something different...

I'll be spending New Year's back home in Montreal so I'll probably bring a few "New Year's worthy" smokes and choose when the time comes...

NC: Opus X shark, AF anejo shark, padron 80th
CC: Trinidad 40 aniversario, '06 Bolivar Libertadores RE Francia, Hamlet custom roll

or something like that...

It will honestly probably depend on the weather. If it's cold, probably a Cuban petit corona. If the weather is nice, I might break out an Anejo Shark!

I just bought a box each of the new GOF. It was $424 total. I don't usually spend that much on 20 cigars, so it's gotta be one of those :)

Never sure till the time arises what I will smoke.
Same here. Weather also plays a role since I'll probably be doing it outside. So the colder it is the shorter the smoke. Got some stuff I've been wanting to get to, but weather hasn't been right. But you were probably wanting specifics so...possibly a Tat Anarchy if the weather is good, otherwise probably a My Father Le Bijou PR. If the weather is bad a Tat PCR would probably work out well.

I don't even know what I'm doing, or where I will be for New Years. There is no way I could begin to pick a cigar this early.
