So I got a new wireless router and it put a fucking block on sites that has to do with alcohol or tobbacco so I can't get on here without using my blackberry I'm so frustrated with it I can't find where to turn it off so I'm going to play goldeneye and blow shit up to chill out any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

What he said, been doing some reading on sites and that is what people are saying. Especially if you just got it no downside to doing it, it wont mess anything up. As was said, it is not typcial for sites to be block coming right out of the factory. The button should be somewhere on the back i think.

its usually a small recessed button, need a ballpoint pen or paperclip to reset, hold in for about 5 seconds...

you may have to powercycle the modem, but should still be ok

Yes, you'll likely have to set it all back up again. As much as I hate suggesting this, did it come with a CD for a walkthrough installation?

I've got my router set it can only get to sites for cigars, beer, guns & p0rn.

My kid has to learn this stuff somewhere.

Its a linksys by cisco it was just a cheapo nothing outrageous

you should not have to run through any setup... should be...turn off modem... reset router by button, wait to come back on... then unplug.... plug in modem... wait for all status lights to come on... plug back in router... bam you have internet to router again

Well i just went through it all again what i did last time was signed up for the free safe surfing something or another i declined this time and bam here I typing from my laptop thanks brothers for walking me through this my buddy John Jameson wasnt helping out to much!
