We bailed on every plan that was thrown at us. I don't want to bring in the new years surrounded by other peoples children, or random strangers at the bowling alley. So, we are just staying home. I'm going to get out the big charcoal grill and fire up steaks and potatoes. Picked up a few nice bottles of wine and sparkling wine. This way we can eat, drink, and smoke what we want-what better way to bring in the new year?
AMEN! Today is also my wedding anniversary. New Year's Eve is amateur night - not to mention impossible to get dinner reservations for, so my wife said "fuck it, let's make some pizzas and buy 3 bottles of champagne for each of us." WIN :bottle:

Even if you DO get a reservation, they always have limited menus, and never pour the good stuff for the toast. Are you grilling your pizza? You should.

Sadly, I left the smokes i had picked out, over at the RV, so I'm back to grabbing something random out of the travel case.
