I am envious of those that can too. My company has a strict no-smoking policy. If you show up even smelling a bit like smoke, you can't work. Whether you're in management or a lowly restaurant house worker, it's a strict no-no.

That said, I have had cigars co-workers, fellow managers and corporate directors. And just about every waiter we have needs a cigarette after work.

The position I hold I take breaks when I want to and sometimes I can manage and hour of just goofing off. I never bring a nice smoke though that is why i keep a box of Tat series P on hand.

It's the restaurant business... Seems cruel to not allow employees to smoke at all. Back when I used to cook the only breaks I got were a quick couple mins out back for a cig.

My last job was with ARRA..(Obama money). We were required to be at work for 9 hours with another .5 hours for lunch. Most of the time was sitting around doing nothing so smoking cigars was always a way to kill time. The rest of the time was spent on the internet surfing. It was also nice working with a few people who enjoyed cigars also.

I work with several guys who also smoke cigars. When the weather is nice, we'll sometimes go outside under some big oak trees and have a robusto during lunchtime. It certainly makes it tough to go back to work though, especially on Friday afternoons.

Im a cook and we take breaks when its dead(~2:30pm or so) and only have time for black and milds. Yes its sacrilegious to smoke black and milds for some of you guys but wasting a 75 cent black and mild is better than wasting a cigar if a customer comes in.

Black and molds! That's hardcore! Love it. I'm a cable guy do Im in my van all day and could smoke if I wanted. But I choose not to, so I don't smell like a chimney when I face the customer. Damn customers! Haha.
