That's really funny. I had to go to Italy for work like 6 times over 3 months and noticed that there was a lot of English being printed on shirts or billboard but it really did make mush sense... I was told that it's cool to have English on certain things like fashion, and it was the reason for doing it. I never seen anything like this though... lol.

Funny I was actually going to post this myself because these types of photos are passed around at the base all the time here. Signs and T-shits and such with English profanity OSS very common here.

In general, vulgarity is language-specific--like if I say "you cunt" to someone from the US that's bad, but it I say it to them in Italian they won't care, even if I tell them what it means.

The Japanese know what these words mean, but most don't realize how vulgar it truly is for 99% of Americans. They hear it all the time in music and movies, so they think that it's "crude" to us but not awful. Like maybe Grandma would give you a look for saying this, as oppose to Grandma having a heart attack as mine would.
