I ordered two sets, first time dealing with them also. Although they did say it can take some time to get shipments out, I received mine only a few days after I placed the order. The product is OK; about worth what I paid.

Funny, I got mine the day I posted this. But I emailed them right before I posted it because their sales email says Ill get a DCN number. The response I got from them sounded like they hadnt shipped it yet as they told me their warehouse was really backed up and said it would ship soon. Lo and behold they were at my house when I arrived. So now Im wondering if Ill get two of them instead of one. Wouldnt that be funny. Still think its weird they didnt send a dcn even though they state they will.

Tried it out and didn't keep my drink very cold... They were in the freezer for a day. Will try again. They have been in the freezer for a couple of days now.

They will never make your drink cold. The goal with these is just to slightly chill without watering the drink down. I have used these for a few years now and was pretty disappointed when I first got them as I was hoping for cold but now that I am used to then I like how they just take the edge off.

I was the exact same way. Expected them to chill them a bit colder than they do. But I'm pretty used to it and like that they chill it just enough without watering my drink down.

I got a couple sets of these for Christmas. Still on the fence ... I prefer a slight chill to my bourbon, but depending on the spirit, a little ice and the resulting water melt can make it tastier.

which is why you know your spirit first. if you are not familiar with it, try it neat, then make a call after a cursory smell and taste.

wish I still drank, these little guys sound perfect for the bar arsenal.
