Best known as the place to visit the grandparents. I'm 25 WSW of Palm Springs as the crow flies.

The funny thing about Hemet is that you would know if you were near it as there isn't much going on around it... :grin:

Hemet is a destination...you definitely do not drive through here to get to somewhere else. Great place to live if you're into golf, hunting or fishing.

East of Hemet is the San Bernardino National Forest. Plenty of places to hunt deer, quail, ducks and rabbits. I shot a real nice buck not 4 miles from my house.
