New Cigar, New Bar

Ventured out to Cigar Masters Bar in Providence last night. Pretty nice place, great couches and chairs, tons of TVs and full bar. I usually prefer a little less crowded atmosphere but thats what I get for going at 11pm on a saturday. Humidor is well stocked with some great smokes, a little pricey but I guess thats to be expected.

I picked up an LP Undercrown Belicoso. Its my first experience with the undercrown and I enjoyed it, I did have to keep my eye on it tho so it wouldnt go out on me, enjoyed a couple Sam Adams Winter Lagers while I was there.

Overall it was a good time, a little expensive for an everyday thing but still nice to know its there,

The stick was 9.95 and the beers set me back 5.00 each.

However, theres a 10$ "Light Up Fee" so you might as well buy something there, there are some sticks in the 5$ range so it doesnt make much sense to pay 10$ to bring your own.

Venture up north for the next meetup and maybe well all plan a road trip down there

I prefer Habanos Cigar Lounge in Pawtucket. Less people usually and the staff and owner are fantastic. Cigar selection isn't great but decent enough. For me, I can just go there and chill and it is worth it.

I've never been there but I've heard good things. Their website isn't working for me right now tho, do they sell drinks?

They sell drinks and some appetizer type stuff and have ample parking.

I have yet to make it to Providence but I go to the Worcester cigar masters often. They too have a "light up" fee but to be honest, as long as you get drinks, they don't mind what you bring. I tend to go earlier at night so it's rare I can't find a seat and they have a great humi and pretty friendly staff!

You cant go wrong with Habanos or Cigar Masters. I think Habanos is a bit more relaxing since it never gets anywhere near as busy as place like CM does since its in downtown Boston. CM Providence is probably my favorite of the 3 locations.

I'm sitting in Habanos now. Nice place definitely more relaxed than CM... Beer is cheaper here but it seems the sticks cost more: at habanos an LP undercrown is 14.95 where as 9.95 at CM pretty good selection tho
