I need to apologize to all my BOTL and SOTL, I should have held a contest for this....

Yesterday, my son took his first steps. He took about 20 in all, because once my wife and I saw him do it, everyone else in the house had to have their opportunity.

...I'll have to make up for it, soon, with a good contest and payout.

True. :lookaroun Just wait until he can climb up to your humidor, and open it... I didn't really want to have to lock it, but until my boy is old enough to be rational, that is the way it is going to have to be.

Congrats on the big step(s). It's only going to get more fun and the days roll on.

...Geez, guys... don't have him grow up TOO fast.

I Love my son! (That's part of the reason why I can't do too much talking about what I've added to my stash. Cigar money has turned into babyfood/toy [of which I am responsibile for most of what he has] money. {And, no I am NOT complaining}) He's great, and I am LOVING watching him become a little boy.

I am also relishing the fact that he loves me and loves to see me. :)

Believe me, I know.

I am keeping my man-card so, shut it, but I cried a little when I missed his first LJS hat when he went out with his mom and grandmother. They sent me a picture, but it wasn't the same.

watching my grandson robot walk around my office has been fun. but, the more confidence he gets, the more he wants to explore. you're gonna find out how tiring it can be just to "watch" him!!!

TRUTH!

My girlfriend will be cooking dinner in the kitchen and my only job will be to ensure my son doesn't get into the kitchen...I fail more often than not!

Congrats! To me this is when they start to be the most fun. I have 2 boys ages 2 and 3, and they are so much fun. Seems like yesterday they learned to walk and now they are ambushing me with swords the second I walk in the door from work.

I already have some idea about that. He crawls like Usian Bolt, and he pulls himself up on everything.... I thought my cutters and so forth were safe as I have a higher end-table. (One he can't see over.) Well, I'm sitting in my recliner and I see him pull himself up on the arm of my chair next to my end-table, and the first thing he grabs is a cutter. Needless to say, EVERYTHING disappeared in that moment.

Plus, here at my in-laws, everytime I try to sit down, I have to jump right back up to get him out of something... It's awesome
