I found a retailer who has some Nosotros cigars in stock and I'm wondering if I should buy a box. I liked them when they were released, but I'm not sure if they have/will age well. I remember a medium body smoke. Does anyone have any input about how these sticks may develop as they age? I don't want to be stuck with a box of muted cigars.

I smoked one about 2 weeks ago and thought it was good. At least as good as I remember it when they first hit the market. Had good flavor, still medium bodied and didn't taste muted to me at all. I was still impressed.

I know many people liked them a lot better a year or so after initial release so I'm assuming they should still be good. If they're not your thing, you probably wouldn't have a problem selling 5ers.

FYI, according to JD- "...The cigars that were sold as the OUTLAW 13 were of FIRST QUALITY, not "Segundos" - and only with the original NOSOTROS capa and materials..."

It's not a local B&M, is it?

NOSOTROS:

For one year following the release of Nosotros all I did was ask cigar smokers, store owners, board guys, Facebook dudes, and even random people in the street ... "What was their opinion as to what went wrong with NOSOTROS Cigars?" It really troubled me.

I will admit that Dion was uber cool about everything, from setbacks over capa to more setbacks over capa and whatever. This is where our friendship became stronger, through the face of adversity. So, whenever I discuss the Nosotros/"13" brand in public, I always make it clear that Dion was always ethical and patient with DE and that I respect the guy. His word is his bond.

Now, that brand had some major problems for various reasons, but the experiment was cool, and the lessons learned were invaluable. As a matter of fact, one of the lessons learned is that the cigars just continue to age better and better ... they were a blend that had problems in some ways and also had blend characteristics that were ahead of its time in other ways.

Charlie mentioned that the 13 were actually the second batch of NOSOTROS. This is true, AND another post was quoting me as saying ... "The cigars that were sold as the OUTLAW 13 were of FIRST QUALITY, not "Segundos" - and only with the original NOSOTROS capa and materials..." This is a Dirty Lie ....

Just kidding ....! hahahaahahahahhahahahaha It's exactly true !!!!!!! And they are a one shot deal, so enjoy for those who enjoy. I do have enough capa (Plac.Cafe.Viso.Criollo) however, for Dion to make another 80,000 units if he ever wanted to. LOL

Finally, bless from Dusseldorf, Germany.

Wish I coulda gotten a few while they were around. I didn't get into Illusione cigars until this past year.

One thing that confuses me is knowing if cigars have a different blend or if they are just different sizes.

http://seriouscigars.com/Illusione_Cigars_list#Classic

As you see they list a lot of different cigars under Classic. But are they different blends?

Does the blend vary on the 88 Robusto from the CG:4 Corona Gorda? MJ12? MK? HL? F9?
