I'm sitting at my B&M. I just got here. I walk out of the humidor witha Le Bijou, sit down, clip, and proceed to pull out my Zippo. Everyone's attention is on Westbrook and xompany fighting for the lead against the Warriors until they hear that familiar ping. Three or four heads turn to watch me light up with so much disgust in their expressions. One guy turns to his buddy and mumbles something about a good cigar about to go to waste. I smile and they look at me like I'm green. I proceed to re-touch and they chuckle. I love my Thunderbird. These guys don't have a clue.

nothing wrong with a reliable, refillable butane lighter. I could see how this could be misconstrued by many though given it looks like a regular zippo

They fit perfectly, but I personally had issues with both the soft flame and the jet inserts. Quality control just does not seem that good on them. The soft flame leaked like crazy and the jet only worked on max flame setting for a split second and then would go out. Friends have used them without problems, I just had bad luck with them.

Never tried the soft flame, but this is my experience as well :disappoin

Funny stuff!

How well do they fit the Zippo casing?
they fit great. just enough friction to keep them in place. not so much they don't go in. they have flame adjustors on the bottom and they come with a lifetime guarantee. you can go through quite a bit of butane playing with the soft flame insert though. opening the zippo lid activates the valve so a lot of fuel can dissipate just doing zippo tricks or whatever.
