Just cut this RP Edge Sumatra and there is this rock hard piece. It's the lighter colored piece. What is this?

I've had that in a MOW Virtue one time as well as a couple other sticks I can't remember. When I cut these open to look at them, I usually find it's a very thick binder leaf that wasn't folded correctly. It's handmade and these things happen. sometimes, this causes a hot draw because the dense leaf is burning so hot.

Oops, looks like a piece of his integrity got lodged in there.
lol!

But really, this. I can't begin to explain all of the things about Rocky that bug me. In a talk I saw him give once, he explained to the audience that vitolas like petit coronas, lanceros, lonsdales, and panetelas (all classic sizes going back to the olden days of Cuban cigar tradition) gaining popularity over the last year or two among serious smokers in nothing but a passing fad, while the super toros, toro gordos, gorditas, 60 ring gauge horse cocks, and 70 ring gauge mega nubs are the future of the cigar industry. It took most of my willpower to resist walking to the podium and smacking the teeth out his mouth!

I have actually had a couple and didnt have an issue with them construction wise, though I wasnt to keen on the flavor. Oh well, sorry man, as they said when hand made stuff happens.
