Tatuaje J21 Question

I recently did a box splits on the Tatuaje J21's as well as Cojonu 2006's. However one of the people I sent some of the J21's to said he thought I sent him the 7th Reserva. I know I didn't because the size different. These are the 5"x50 size of the J21 as apposed to the 5.5"x46 of the 7th Reserva. However he showed me a picture of his and the black band below the normal band says J21. Mine say Reserva and on the back have the new Pete Johnson logo. Was there a band change on these at all?

Mine are identical to these, box, band, everything.

Don't know about the band change, but the J21 would indicate that it's a J21 and not a 7th. Like you said there is also a definite size difference. Can you post a pic of the back of one of your bands?

Well I know they had an issue with the logo so they re-banded newer cigars. Mine was brand new. So I figure its just a banding issue.

The symbol on my bands is the same as PJ's avatar on here, the new logo.

Thanks mate. Thought it was just a band change issue. I know they had the trademark dispute over the old logo so they rebanded some cigars.

Older J21 have the j21 on the band. Newer do not. J21 is also a robusto. How can you mistake the 2?

Per Label, the J21 was removed from the bands post 2009. That indeed is a J21 in your pic.

Wow , that means that some J21s I have have a good 3 years on them.
