Wow!

This is my first aged Cuban and boy is it starting out awesome;
Stone fruit? Honey, flowers, smooth tobacco? Simply amazing...

More to follow.

Yes I would say so. With this being my first aged cc, it is very easy now to see what all the hype is about. This was a good cigar.
Only had maybe 10 overseas myself - just got into cigars last April. Not worth the price in Japan, but cheap in Singapore! That place is worth the trip alone for the exotic scotch and cigars. Singapore is baller city!

If they didn't require a lil extra effort to obtain, would they taste as good?
Many a man here would say....... YES
A quote from our resident Canadian:
" I smoke a good amount of premium NCs along with all my CCs". "But when I truly want a epic smoke, I reach for a well aged CC."

When I finally pull the trigger on a box purchase in 2012.....

It will be a box of Upmann #2. Space and trying to sell our damn house in this shitty market currently, are the hang up. If/when we do sell, and I don't have to bring a crap-ton of money to close (hopefully none!)....i'll treat myself.

It's a great cigar, and has easily become my favorite Habanos line altogether.

Nice review! Not a big Upmann fan, but I do have a box of these from 2001. Very nice cigars. Recent ones I've tried, to my taste, are not as good.
