Hey everyone,
Just a quick note to introduce myself. John Brooke at Drew Estate suggested that I stop by since I will be going on the Cigar Safari March 11-14 with three other guys from work. John said that the rest of the people on the trip are a group from here.
I live in the St. Louis, MO area and have been smoking cigars occasionally for twenty some years. Got serious about it four years ago and now have four coolerdors.
My tastes in cigars are varied, but my preference is for Parejo shaped cigars with a ring gauge of 50-54 in a Robusto, Toro or Churchill size. Seems like Nicaraguan cigars are my overall favorites these days. Not too active online, but I frequent the Cigarworld forum and enjoy reading on line blogs. Most of my purchases are now done by the box on online auctions as I have discovered that I prefer to age my cigars.
Favorite brands are Perdomo, Padron, Joya de Nicaragua, Alec Bradley and my old benchmark Hoyo de Monterrey. I do enjoy many others but these make up my regular rotation.
Looking forward to the trip in March and glad to hear there are some like minded individuals on the trip as well.
