So I had a day off yesterday and finally got to petsmart to get a jug of kitty litter. The humidity in my wineador has been around 75% the past few weeks and couldn't get it to drop. I put 2 Tupperware containers full of the KL and after an hour it dropped to 67 and hasn't moved since. Very impressed. Thanks for the help guys!!!

YEP !!!

So many guys bash on KL but it's just as good if not better in my opinion and seems to be yours than regular beads!

I had beads first and they were very unstable ... switched to KL and was steady as a rock within a couple days and hasn't moved since in over 4 months!

Thanks but I'll save my hard earned money on the thing we humidify, not the media itself!

KL For Life for me .... and Many others.

I use a Cigar Oasis XL Plus in my mini fridge right now. Keeps everything at the humidity I set. I like to keep my cigars a bit more moist as the ambient conditions are so low right now, so it's set at 67. As my picture show of the new wine cellar I picked up, it's currently about 20-30% humidity out which dries cigars out pretty well.

Could someone please fill me in on how to set up the KL? I am setting up a wineador and would love to save a little cash. I have some trays that I planed on using for the HF beads. Probably going with the ExquisiCat stuff. Thanks guys!
