Wish someone could ask litto then...mu...u know litto? :)

But on a serious note nate during my search last night I could not find a picture of that stick in a dark wrapper. All of the box pictures look just like that. And several articles on how unique this cigar was due to limited leaf and "natural osuro" process. So I guess returning them if it is not what he wants...but it does not appear that these are wrong in anyway.

I've seen 2008 oscuro's that were dark, but a couple of months ago I saw some Oscuro's that looked natural. I guess he didn't cure those particular leaves to be dark. Only person that can answer the specifics about the differences is Litto.

I reached out to Litto to see what he thought (since I was curious myself), and here is what he had to say:

"Brooks, thanks for the email, it could have happened that a group of cigars were accepted in quality control, with a little lighter color. There should not be anything different about the cigars, other than the shade of color, nonetheless, please let me know if you want me to replace the box, I will be very happy to do it.
Thanks again

Litto"

That tells me (as mentioned above) there are Oscuros with lighter wrappers, so no worries there...

Hope that helps!
