Wasn't a big fan of my first Oliva Serie O Maduro

Tried a Serie O Maduro I had picked up from a store a few weeks back. Man, I am pretty underwhelmed. Now, to be fair, I LOVE every other Oliva I've ever had. Huge fan of the Conn Reserve as my morning smoke. Love the V. Even a big fan of the Cain and NUBs. But not likin' the O Maduro.

The draw was super super tight. Not sure if this contributed to the struggle to find any real flavors out of it.

Sorry, just some random musings. Anyone else?

I've found it to be a solid smoke. Nothing spectacular. Oliva is one of those companys that i just don't care for any of thier maduro wrapper cigars be it the O, G or even V seires.

I enjoy the O maduro now and then.
I bought 10 in the double toro 6x60 size so I don't smoke them too often.
Mostly when I'm doing something for long periods of time i.e. fishing, golf, etc.

I enjoy the O's from time to time. Was a more frequent visitor to my humidor back in the day. Not a rock your world cigar, but definitely a solid budget cigar. Maybe they're not your cup 'o tea, but given the burn issues you should give 'em another go to be sure.

Just finished an O maduro and it was pretty good. There are definitely things I lik more, but for the price it was a winner. It had been sitting for several months and had zero burn issues.
