My name is Robert Todd and have been a cigar smoker for well over 30 years. Two years ago I retired from the Manager of User Interface Engineering position at Autotrader.com . I moved from Atlanta Georgia to Santiago Panama due to the warm weather, low cost of living and my wife is from here lol.

In early January, 2012 I met a Cuban tobaquero (cigar maker) who had recently opened a cigar factory here in Santiago Panama where I live. I bought one of his cigars and I'll be darned it was one of the best I have smoked. I'm thinking to myself WOW, no more road trips to by shoddy quality cigars from the other manufacturers I've tried, no more trips to Panama City to buy way overpriced Cuban and/or Cuban fakes, I'll buy factory direct, sweet!

It turns out my new found acquaintance needed help with English translations and since both my wife and I are bilingual we offered to assist him. He dropped the price of the cigar to factory cost in exchange, hot dang!!!

He mentioned he needed some website assistance and of course I volunteered because sitting on one's tail everyday even with a good smoke and awesome coffee gets kind of boring. So during January and most of February I worked on his site and search engine optimization of the site flordecamejo.com. OMG my cigars are now free !!!!!

The amazing thing is in less than 2 months we have already had a sale from the site to a new cigar shop in Casco Viejo in the center of Panamy City. Now I'm the export sales manager for Flor de Camejo, and I'm learning all about the business side of cigars.

So what a long strange trip it's been, I hope to get to know other cigar enthusiasts and discuss the finer points of cigars. - Robert

The fleur de lis on the band looks familiar. Good luck with that. If successful, I see a challenge in your future.
