To each his own, but in my opinion T52 TORO is the finest product that DE has ever made. All things considered, the Dirty Rat, FFP, and Ratzilla are choice, but T52 Toro was "the one" ...!

BTW - We have Bob VanMeter hostage at the factory. He is eating Caballo Ballo and smoking T52 simultaneously. I love this guy.

The Toro is my favorite regular production T52, but I give a slight edge to the Flying Pig overall. But as far as box-purchases, it's always Toros for me. They age marvelously well.

Are you referring to the new 52's? I went to the local B&M which has both the 9's and 52's in stock but the 52 has a light wrapper. I've been gouging all the 9's, rats, pigs, and L40's because they seem to be morelimited. Should I be looking at the new 52's more closely?

JDizzle..agreed on the T52 Toro. First time I had one it was almost a religious experience!!! After seeing the wrapper leaf with you in the pilones and how oily it was, I had a permanent smile on my face as Fabien kept pointing out!!! LOL

Got to inspect the new shipment at our local Liga account (Tobaccos of Hawaii) and the T52s looked wonderful!!! cheehoo!!!!

The T52 wrappers for the new 2012 batch are darker, the batch from 13-months ago (which I suppose some shops still have around) were a bit lighter. But that's not to say they were bad ... I've never had a "bad" T52. I bought multiple boxes from last year's release, and they were and are awesome.

Ok, that sounds right. The ones at my B&M are the lighter variety. I have tried a couple and have a box of 52 pigs, but I saw a darker wrapper on a 52 pic. haven't seen those around my parts as of yet. They look awesome!

I'm super curious to know how the NEW darker wrapper compares in flavor to the past runs as more people try them!
