help identify flavor

i have a flavor that i find in certain cigars i cant really name. it is a very pronounced flavor in pdr 1878 oscura(red box) and i tried an occidental out of a bundle and it was only this flavor.

i smoked a tat capa especiale and it had tiny hints of it and was a great cigar, but the other two are overwhelming with this taste, i think it might be "leather" but i'm not really sure


help me out brothers and sisters and name this taste i cant

I just had myself a nice full bodied moldy mildew with some sweet manure notes, followed up by some chicken coupe manure and finished off with some excellent tar, and diesel with a slight hint of kerosene. Was an excellent cigar, multiple box worthy.

The initial flavors I get from the PDR are somewhat similar to the PCR on the first few puffs. I get mostly a meat, leather and burnt spice flavor.
