Anyone have a cell phone they don't need?

My son's LG cosmos is giving him fits. It sends a blank text message to random contacts when he opens it, duplicates characters and other problems. My wife used his upgrade to get her Iphone so he's stuck. He did activate an old phone he had before but it has problems too. If anyone has a cell that works lying around that works with Verizon, I'll pay the shipping if you want to get rid of it.
