I don't like it. Sanchez is a good player and now he's going to have everyone on his back even more so than they already are. Also, I want to see Tebow go somewhere where he'll be accepted and wanted. Not some backup/fill-in guy or just there to play special packages. :frownno:

I think it's a good fit. Rex wants to run the ball so they picked up a great fullback(Tebow). He will be a threat with his throwing ability in wildcat packages since Sporano is their offensive coordinator.

It will be crazy in NY and Sanchez will be looking for a new backup QB job before the season is over.
Miami is looking (well always) for a QB. But it'd be hard for NY to trade Sanchez to a division rival.

I am not a Tebow fan. He was my Fantasy Football QB after Romo and Manning were injured. I hated to watch him play. I cringed every time he threw the ball. That being said, in 2011 he was tossed in the fire. He survived. Although I think he has potential, he has a long way to go. He can only get better.

If they use tebow as a fullback/zback/tight end this actually works, those are position of needs. If they intend to use him primarily at QB backing up Sanchez, this will turn into a nightmare for the Jets. As much hate that Tebow gets, he actually is very effective at running the ball.

The Jets just can't screw up his role and make him a quarterback.

He would be a great back. That is thinking outside the box. Imagine the plays you could come up with. A back that can throw the ball

Exactly, if you give him 8-10 touches a game running the ball or doing some other type gimmickly plays now and then - he can be effective. If they use him as a running threat who can occasionally throw the ball, it can work.

If he sits on the bench, and does not get any snaps in a running back/tight end type of role and Sanchez starts to play poorly - the fans, the media, players in the locker room will be screaming for Tebow to play.
