I wont a Samsung 46" LED/ 3D / Smart TV from work. This is my first 3D TV I have to pick up some glasses today since it did not come with any.

I wanted to see if anyone has this TV, how you like the 3D etc.. I notice you can make any channel essentially 3D have you done that what do you think.

I have that TV except 47" and love the TV..... I use 3D occasionally. My wife does not like it so we don't use it often. Sports and Movies are the best for using 3D.

I don't know what model yours is, but we have a 46" Samsung LED 3D that sounds the same. I have no intentions of ever using the 3D, but love the picture of it on 2D. I really don't plan on any of the SMART features either, but the picture/bezel of the TV sold us on that model. I'm not a fan of the screwy adapters needed to plug in anything that isn't HDMI, but I'm coping with it.

Ya sounds like the same. the only non HD i have to plug in is the original Plastation. Just need a HDMI cable for xbox since my last TV only had 1 HDMI input.

Ya the smart apps dont really need. Got Netflix on my xbox, will be picking up a surround sound for with WI-Fi to play music of my comp so dont need pandora so pretty much all set. with smart apps lol

I picked up the exact tv a few months ago.
The 3D is a neat feature but it gives the wife and I headache if we watch it for too long.
We had to adjust the LED backlighting also because it made shows look "fake"
I have a HTPC that I built plugged into it so I have no need for the apps on the set itself.
Also my sounds goes through the set since I blew my receiver. The sound quality isn't the best past 30...it basically gets to that point and doesn't get and louder, even though you can still turn it up.
All in all, it's not a bad set. Congrats on the win...
