Looking for a couple recommendations

If you had to recommend 3 cigars for someone that likes the Liga Privada, Olivas G/V, Padrons, what would it be?

I am specifically looking for cigars that have a lot of flavor and smoothness, but not a ton of spice/power. The only Tat's I've had so far as the Havana VIs and they were pretty spicy.

Am I being too generic?

A few I would recommend:

Reinado. It's medium full, with a nice rich well aged flavor. Some spice, but not too much.

262 Paradigm. Rich and earthy with nice sweet touch of baking spices.

Ortega Serie D. Excellent and quite complex. Tons of flavor.

Tempus Maduro. Full and rich, some spice and nice complexity.

Nica Libre Potencia. Full and spicy, but balanced.

As for maduros specifically... 601 Blue and Padron 3000 are hard to beat.

La Cima classic. Its nice and full, spicy but in a balanced way.

Casa Fernandez. All are very good. Arsenio is on the spicy side, Aganorsa Leaf is more complex.

Illusione. All are great. Classic is spicy and full. The Mj12 and MK are the best IMHO. The Epernay line is a complex and lighter option. The Maduro line is quite smooth, lots of rich flavor.

Cabaguan Guapo is a great cigar that is smooth and full of flavor.

UZI is also complex and medium in body. Excellent flavor.

Oliva V`s, Liga Privada`s, and Padron`s are my three favorite cigars! The Tatuaje Black Label Petite Lancero is my favorite tat product with the ls Verite 2009 robusto in a close second. I would recommend the Oliva V maduro (any year), Esteban Carreras Habano Maduro and Any size of the Ashton VSG line-up.

The Oliva V maduros bring an interesting change to the already amazing V line.
The Esteban Carreras is extremely rich with a nice amount of spice, without being overwhelming.
The Ashton VSG line has a nice spiciness matched by a subtle sweetness that comes across very smooth on the palate.

Padron 45th is my favorite cigar probably. But the whole 1926 line is awesome. These are all quite spicy/peppery, though.

For Liga Privada, the Feral Flying Pig (very peppery) and T52 get the nod from me, then an aged #9.

For Tatuaje, the Brown label is fantastic, the Especiales is milder and delicious, the Noella is stronger but awesome. But everything in that line is great.

For something different, try the El Triunfador #6 (lancero). Mild-medium, but with some spice. Tasty and unique.

The La Casita Criolla is also VERY unique and a must-try cigar, imvho. The corona is a lot spicier than the other sizes.

Tatuaje: newer line of El Truinfador (like nate suggested)
Brown label especiales
Padron 3k series with a couple years on them if u can find them.

Btw Oliva series V IMO are strong and spicy.

I love your sig btw. I don't mind spice, as long as it's still a flavorful smooth smoke. I've had too many cigars that just wanted to make the smoker vomit instantly with the power. Not a fan of that.

Start aging them- often strong sticks can mellow nicely.

I agree with Justin. It's hard to find a "great" in your face cigar without the spice. To me anything else is just hot ash and the taste to follow.
Other than the cigars he listed I'd say try the Cojonu line from Tatuaje. The 03 is my absolute fav nc.

How about any of the Tatuaje Reserva's? I recommend 203 Cojuno, J21, and 7th Reserva

For smooth and no spice I'd have to go with the Undercrown and MUWAT as others have pointed out.

Also Gran Habano #3 isn't to bad either.

I was also going to suggests 80 percent of CCs fall in this category you are looking for. If u don't have a source give it time. Most guys that have put in there time here have a few. Fwiw.

AB Black Market is good too.

J21s although not as spicey are VERY FULL bodied. Carefull

You'll like the J21, but as was said above, with a bit of age they should mellow some and you'll probably like them even more. I too strongly recommend the Cojonu 03 as well.

usually age doesn't factor less than six months, and mostly year and over. patience sucks! o)
