First day down, we are dead tired and going to bed at 11 Vegas time...yeah I know.

Walked part of the strip while smoking a Mag 46. Hot as hell with the sun beating down on you. Then we somehow magically ended up at Casa Fuente...imagine that! Had to start the day off at Casa with a Fuente Queen B and a mojito. Never had a maduro regular line, so I thought I would give it a try. Not a stick I will be searching out again as it was lacking the full flavors from the start. It ended well, but needs more up front. After showing the ol' lady how to play roulette, we chilled for a bit then had supper. What can you think happened next? Casa Fuente for a Casa Fuente Corona Gorda. I know I shoul have had the lance but was pressed for time. If only I knew how bombed the wife would get drinking in the casino, I would have snatched up the lance.
So that is my first day in a nut-shell. I don't think you guys want to read all the stuff that will be going on in the next few days, but today was a great bday. I love being able to sit and enjoy a cigar inside with other like-minded people around.
Good night, and have a good one!
Lol, I'm living vicariously through you right now, my bday is during this week, and I will be working, heh.

She is holding me hostage at New York New York. It's a nice hotel, and I can't wait to get downstairs to that Irish pub for some dark beer. I am going to try to hit up another shop today off the strip, and do some shopping at the outlet mall. The wife has been to Vegas so she has an idea of things to do and how to get there.
Thanks for the bday messages!

Well I stocked up on clothing at the outlet malls today. Interesting open-mall concept.
Went to Monte Carlo and lost more money while puffin on a VR Unicos.
We hit Frremont st. where we watched the light show, while enjoying a RyJ Short Churchill. I walked into Binions and found a small cigar shop in the back called Vato's. Inside this little shop I got into a conversation with the employee, wherein I handed him a Mag 50 after asking a few questions and determining he knew his cigars. We got to chatting more and I ended up buying some new zippo butane inserts that are made by Jetline. Apparently these things are supposed to be pretty good...just a heads up for the rest of anyone reading this. So as we talked more, I was gifted a Macanudo vintage cigar that they had in the case. These things are from 1993. The bands still have Jamaica written on them! I guess wednsday night Johnathan Drew is going to be at the cigar bar there for an event if anyone wanted to know.
We came back to the hotel, got cleaned up and went downstairs to finish the night off. Had to have some power to finish the night off with, so a T52 Toro was in store.
Tonight was not a crash-early night, but it was a pretty good day overall. Tomorrow (later this morning I guess) I am going to get up to Cigarbox lounge to pick some stuff up.
Updates will commence tomorrow...just have to say HOLY FUCK, the walking is insane!

Tues:
We woke up, ate, then took a cab over to CigarBox, which was recommended by a couple brothers. Now I was under the impression that no one was in town, or able to make it for a meet up this week. When I arrived at the shop, I found out that Fat_Risling (Colt) was sitting in the store having a stick already. I felt bad on the timing, as we has some stuff planned, and couldn't spend a lot of time there. Bought a couple sticks, chatted a bit, then left to head back to the strip for some more walking and walking.
I did pick up a couple MK Ultras at the shop, and lit one up that afternoon. I have never had a cigar want to go out as much as this one did. I re-lit it 7 times. I don't know if it was too wet, or just was the tunneling, but it was frustrating. The flavors, when able to get them, were amazing!
We had supper, then went over to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay to gamble a bit and smoke a stogie.
Had an EPC Innaugural 2009 that night that was great!
We walked all the way back to our hotel, we did a lot of that, and stayed up till 4. As you can guess, another cigar must have been had;
finished the night with a T52 Toro. Still love these sticks, new or old.

Wed:
After a bite to eat, we walked the strip again, ending up at Casa Fuente again...imagine that. I walked into the store to find that Colt was working there. Funny how things worked out. We chatted for a bit, then I grabbed a Fuente Anejo 48. MAN was that a good cigar! It started off with all the flavor you need, and kept building from there. I did start feeling the nicotine at the end, but nothing too strong. Sat there with a mojito again, watched sports and chilled.
We left there went to eat at the Sports Bar in NYNY, which is the best place to eat if you like sports ! Grabbed our bags and came home.

Great trip all in all. Wonderful surprise from the wife, and back home safe with a lot of cool memories and a few more sticks.

Thanks for reading, I hope everyone else gets to see that monstrosity that is Vegas.

Enjoying a beer at Nine Fine Irishmen Pub

Always in the checked luggage, never in the carry on. Have traveled 6 times with a torch in the checked luggage, and once in the carry on, never had a problem.
And yes, I was pretty damned lucky...if you consider me having to now pay this trip off lucky...haha

HAH. I always loved that.

"Happy Birthday hunny, the Rolex you always wanted."

"When does the bill come in the mail?"
