It's a good tasting cigar IMHO. Although, it can have burn issues due to the thickness of the wrapper.

They are great cigars especially for the price. They are also even better with some age. You really can't beat them for the price.

I personally like them. The only drawback is the occasional burn issue that has already been mentioned. Some dryboxing might help.

I say do it. Sit on them. If you don't like them, they can always be your "mooch" stick that you give to non-smokers when they want to join you for a smoke.

I like the as golf/fishing cigars. I say, you've got very little risk here. $2 per and free shipping? Do it.

If you find you like them, I suggest you try out other sizes. I think the lancero and churchill are both much better - but the torp and toro are both solid, non-offensive, cigars. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the newer (tweaked?) blend in lancero yet.

Love the sun grown...go for it. For the price they are superb! If you can find some with the old packaging (they come up on CBid from time to time) they are excellent.

What does the old packaging look like? I am curious as to know what to look out for.

Pretty much the same, I think. The real difference is in whether or not there is a ribbon around the foot.

I will have to go check my stash then haha. I am pretty sure they are all the new packaging but maybe I will get lucky. Thank you very much.

There's a ribbon on the foot. There's also a second band below the main one that says something like Liga Cubana. On CBid I think the remaining stuff from the old packaging usually says 2007 on it. They used to come in boxes of 25, but now they're 20. The only thing from the older style I've seen lately has been 5ers and singles.
