if anyone had not heard, the makers of pinar del rio, PDR 1878, obsidian, et cetera, have got themselves a new fabrica in tamboril. the flores y rodriguez line is, IIRC, the first line produced in the facility (maybe the pinar del rio small batch reserve, but that's a one shot, and doesn't count). this line has four sizes i think, and is in the $4-6 range. and is CRAZY good. the construction has, so far, been perfect, and the blend, while not groundbreaking, is spot on, comforting, and still uniquely PDR.
some of the brothers and sisters have some love on here for their marcas, be it the online stuff or the B&M lines (and the BOTL '10!), and i wholeheartedly recommend this line. abe flores is himself a BOTL, and mad ups for this latest offering, man! i need to do a review or something, but right now am burning one as a yard gar, wishing i had time to pay attention to it and had grabbed something else; expect one soon
just felt like giving a shout out on a new offering that is well thought out, price conscious, and a pretty yummy pony to keep in the stable. B&M exclusive, i think: if you see them at your local, i endorse, and if not, go for an ISO. o)
