If you didn't sign any type of non disclosure agreement then don't sweat it. I work for the gov't with a TS/SCI clearance...and unless they hire a CEH "certified ethical hacker" to look into your system they are in the wrong. They've got so many other tools to check up on you other than a computer.

Please tell me that's a CEH based on ability and not that certification. :eyequiver

Not to scare anyone but have you guys read what the US PATRIOT Act allows? It's my understanding that the government can sneak and peak with out a warrant for a period of time. The act is a civil liberties and judicial nightmare after reading it over. You should all check it out.

It is boring! Although it has been a long since you post the thread, the ability of the boss never change, they want to control their employees even when they are at home.
To actually get into your home system (keyloggers, remote vulnerabilities, etc.), they'd either need a warrant or your permission. Allegedly!
But I know some mobile monitoring software can be installed though email.
