posted this in another thread too but, regencycigar.com has the robustos available and I believe 3jcigars.com also, both in the 15ct bundles if anyone was interested. Couldn't find the toros online though.

The ones at regency cigars are the toros as are the ones at pipes and cigars. The toros are 5.75 x 50 and the robustos are 5 x 52. G1

I had a robbie last night. The first two thirds were better than the last third. It didn't want to be smoked too fast. And it put off a ton of smoke (which I like). If it wasn't for the botl/minimonsters/etc and vacation in a few weeks, I'd probably get more.

Got my hands on a couple of the toros from a local B&M. I think they might be out. I was told that was out of the last bundle. A little too moist. I think I'm going to let them sit for a little while.

You guys that have smoked them....did you think they were a bit too moist?
I noticed the strongest barnyard smell I have ever gotten off a smoke, which I have always associated with youngness. But there was none of those flavors. It did fall apart in the last third though and got a little harsh and bitter, I will age the rest and see how they go!

Which outlaw release used the Mex wrapper? Was it the most recent (unbanded)? or was it the one with the outlaw band? G1

Seems I missed the boat on the torro but I will continue to look. So many goodies out right now need a second job!

I've put down a few of the robustos. Dry-boxed 1 for a couple days just out of curiousity (local ambiant RH is 55-60) and that particular stick didn't taste as good as the others, so I wouldn't describe them as moist. Also the draw on everyone I tried is wide open. Punch or small v-cut is recommended. Agree with Mark Jr. about the flavors being better during the first 2/3rds. It's a solid cigar with some good flavors. The robbie burns very well with tons of smoke. Maybe a little humi rest will help, but my guess is that right now they're smoking pretty close to what they'll likely peak at.

I've smoked a couple of the toros the past few days and a robusto just now. I thought the toros smoked much better then the robusto, which seemed wet. I'm sure even just a few down days will help it out, but them toros are smoking great for me. Love the flavor profile.
