Just bought a fiver of Jaime Garcia Reserva
Especial from Cigar Auctioneer. Was curious what notes y'all
got. I notice a ton of pepper to start off- then
it mellowed to some leather and basic aged
tobacco flavor.

These get very sweet with age. I have some petite robs from early after the release and it's a totally different cigar now. Syrupy sweet, mmmmm!

Very sweet flavor I got, not too much pepper...wonderful cigar. I think I will be picking up a box soon. I got a fiver of the toros off cigar monster for like $22 and this is my last one. I can get a box for < $100 which makes it a no-brainer for me!

After a year in the humi, these take on a VASTLY different profile. Like NJStone said, syrup with a nice espresso sweetness. I remember when I first smoked them I thought they were ok, but with age they are awesome. Definitely worth picking some up and forgetting about them in the back of the humi for awhile.

Totally agree with what everyone said here. I have some left from the 3 boxes i bought
back in 2010 when tim was still at the burning leaf! They need lots of time to age properly
but they're truly a treat if you have the patience (and time) to wait them out!
