I´am from Germany and here we only have knowleadge about aging cuban cigars, but whats about non cuban.

My Favorites are

Oliva Serie V

Jaime Garcia

Jaime Garcia Limitada?!?!

I put them out of the cellophane and let them age inside their boxes.

Here is what NON CUBANS I have in my long term aging (all full boxes or cabs):

VSG Corona Gorda
Tatuaje Black Label Petite Lancero (Original Release)
Cain F Lancero
Tatuaje NHC Capa Especial
Opus X Petite Lancero
Graycliff Espresso Elegante (Lancero)
Cabaiguan WCD 120 REDUX
Casa Magna Domus Magnus Optimus
E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2010 No.4 (cab)
Illusione MKULTRA

There are probably some more I am forgetting...The idea that I have is either very strong, or very flavorful, or a combination of both...We will see :)

Terrible selection. Send them all to me for proper disposal :p

I don't have any boxes of NCs for long-term storage. However, I have a variety of Opus, Anejo, and Viajes that I won't smoke for a long time.

anejo and opus x from fuente, and a lot of the tatuaje stuff. also some olivas, like the v and v maduro. sitting on a 7th reserva, some oliva v mad '11, a fuente fuente, and an anejo 46 myself. and, basically, +1 to everything brooks said, especially the strong or flavorful idea.

your list looks solid to start with. wouldn't worry about cello myself, they will age either way, and take less handling damage if they have it on. and yes, padron thousands do great with a little time!

good luck to you, and enjoy!

Where are you in Germany? I'm headed to Stuttgart (Vaihingen) on Saturday and could bring some along for you, just need what you'd like.

I would agree with most above.

Opusx and Anejo are the two that really pop out as Aging Cigars. an aged Anejo has wowed me like no other cigar i have had. I personally think the Tatuaje DDs and the DE FFPs will be amazing with age on them.

What period of time did you mean? 1-2 years or more?
Opus is 3-5+ years and Anejo is 2-5 years.

Padron 2000's have extremely long legs, darn near the longer the better. With 2 years they are extremely good, with 7 they are fantastic and with 10 they are unbelievable.

How long are you thinking you would like to age NC's??

Wow, nice...that sounds good.... but sadly the most cigars are not on the German market...

So i`m going to go to buy me some Padrons....maybe Churchills and try them in 2-3 years for the first time.

Speaking of the German market, where do you buy your cigars? I've checked out one web retailer and while they don't carry a lot of cigars mentioned on this board, their selection is nonetheless impressive.
