I wish I could make a trip over there but it's not very cost effective right now My girl and I have been watching the U.S. Olympic trials and it has made me pumped for the Olympics. I'm most excited about swimming and gymnastics. Of course, I'll probably watch it all...

Pretty excited for gymnastics, jordyn wieber is my ex in-laws gymnast they have been training since she was 6. I've watched that kid grow up in the time I was with my ex wife and wish them nothing but the best. She is a great kid who deserves this moment

My wife would love to visit London. Will probably watch/DVR a large portion of what's on. I'm interested to see how Phelps does. Other than that I like the lower profile stuff a lot...like fencing, table tennis, mountain biking (mostly since I used to be really into it), archery, etc.

I'm looking forward to the cycling as we seem quite good at that !

Being a red blooded bloke the beach volleyball might pop up on the TV.

Hell...I wish we could Steve. Times are just to dang rough right now to burden the cost of an overseas trip. Hopefully someday before I'm to old to enjoy though.
As for me I love the volley ball, gymnastics, swimming, and any other sport that involves half naked chicks! LOL! Seriously we will watch/DVR alot of it as we both find the Olympics exciting.
Hmmm...Probibly watch it on the telly with some fine Cuban brew! :halfgrinw

Ridiculously over commercialized, for sure. Even so, there's something about a cultural event shared by damn near the whole world that I think is really special. Call me sappy, but the whole thing gives me the warm fuzzies.
