Headed to Block Island for the week!

Packed up my travel cases w\ 10 good smokes 5x2 so that I can share with the father of the family we are staying with if he decides to partake!

I cannot wait!

2 of each!

I know some of you had some fun vacations this summer or have upcoming vacations!

What did you bring!

I'm really looking forward to some quiet time and some QT spent fishing with my son!

this exactly! i overpack on smokes like the wife overpacks on clothes. o)

seriously, though, when you have uninterrupted time, pull out a gift from someone else, or something you keep putting back saying "it's not time yet". that's what vacations are for.

I'm with CO... I always bring a bunch of em and pick based on how the day is floating. I picked up one of those 30ish count sealed portable humidors and fill it up. Took a whole range on my 2 week vacation out to California. Sadly, I didn't smoke much. Nothing tasted right out there (granted the skies were smoggy and no blue sky) and these was no one to smoke with except one of my long time friends who had to leave the day after I got there. But I went prepared and had options.

For my vacation earlier this year, a week at a lake cabin with the family, I took a Padron 1926, Fuente Fuente Opus X, Rass, Oliva V Belicosoand a Tatauje J21.

So after reading all this it made me think I need to pack more cigars.

But this AM I woke up with a friggin cold!

Yep, I'm with the others...I always take a selection to choose from.

In fact, I'm going to my brothers this evening and might not even smoke a cigar, but I'm taking 5, must in case.

Nice selection, but you will need more. I am pretty certain that once people see you smoking on Block Island, they are going to be begging you for sticks. I don't believe that there is a retail shop there.

Great selection. I'm headed to the east coast for two weeks and I plan on doing a lot of quality smoking.

I was at Block for a week - the last week in July. Great beaches, good restaurants and a great place for a relaxing vacation ! I typically bring a 40 coumt humi-dore on vacation - that way I have plenty to chose from depending on what I feel like. FYI, Block does have a real cigar shop that carries some decent cigars including some high-end stuff. It is next to Aldo's.
