I have a few COA LX2's that came in a sampler, not my favorite but seem to be building a very bitter flavor from the first one i smoked to the one i just finished. About 2 months apart. If anyone has had these is this normal? If not what could cause the bitter flavor?

I've only liked the little PC - BAM, I think. Bitterness can be a bigger problem in smaller RG's, but I never had a problem with these. Typically one of two things (or a combination of both) will get you a bitter smoke; over humidified and/or smoking too fast. Try these at about 60-63RH and smoke them slowly. Another possiblity, since you said "very bitter" is that they're tarring up on you. That can be related to the two things I mentioned above, but can also be pretty random, I've found.
I did use my punch cutter instead of clipping it like i did the last one so it could be a tar issue, also i keep my humidor at 70 rh but haven't had a bitterness issue before. I live in the plains desert of eastern colorado where 3 days out of four the humidity level is below 40% so my thinking is that the sticks basically start drying out the second they are removed. Maybe i need to rethink that lol. Thanks for the info!
I smoked lot of lx2 and I've learned a few things. 70%rh just a little too high for them. if you live in a dry climate an hour or two dry boxing should help. You should purge the cigar around every 1/3 except and take your time this should help you avoid any bitter taste
