Ya thats sad, he is def taking advantage of the situation. They are becoming harder to find, you just need to keep your eyes open cause they pop up for sale on here and other places. They came out at 75 bucks, so try and find some for around there.

Could be that the dealer isn't an authorized Tatuaje dealer and may have picked them up in the secondary market. All about the educated consumer. G1

I think I know a local B&M that has one box left and is selling them for the normal price of $75. These were the original boxes that actually came with the trading cards. I just bought the second-to-last box from them.

My local B&M had abot 10 boxes when they first landed. He was selling them for 20% over MSRP. I decided to order them from a site sponser and have not been back since. Sad since I really enjoyed stoping in there from time to time to buy sticks and chew the fat. :shame:

this is a damn fine point. do they carry any other tatuaje product: tats, ricky, cabby, fausto? also, what are their prices like on other brands? i have seen little places start up, getting product from a secondary or even tertiary source (like buying from another, larger B&M), and having to mark up from there. they usually don't to long doing that unles they learn quick, but i have seen it before.

either way, i would consider it a sizable red flag, FWIW. o)

They do sell other tat products and I've bought boxes in there for cheaper than I've been able to find them online from time to time so I'm not sure why the ill monsters are so jacked up. The shop is in the nicest neighborhood in Oregon so they might be trying to squeeze a little extra $$$ from their upper end clientele who knows haha He did give me a lil drac for free on my way out though so they're not all bad :p

This makes sense from a retailer perspective. If I made 500k a year, I'd spend $150 on a box of lil' fellas. However... :)
