got this!

lotto is a voluntary group trade based on outside information, namely the lottery drawings...

you choose to play, and in which pool (budget being like $8 and under? premium being ten-ish, per stick)...

if you choose to play, you are assigned three numbers corresponding to potential numbers of the mega ball in the mega millions multistate big ass lotto thing...

your number gets drawn on the last drawing of the month, everyone sends your lucky ass at least a three smoke care package. someone else wins, you send a parcel and congratulations to the person in your pool who has the lucky digits...

or, if you are like me, you see it as twelve excuses a year to bomb someone with no reprisals. hey, my ship comes in, i will be getting cavity searched by TSA at the airport, and i know it.. o)

To be clear, this from the lotto rules:

Premium:
I hate putting a price tag on premiums because that doesn’t always work out (gurkha etc.) must of us know what a premium is, if not ask around. Some good examples (Padrons, Tatuaje, Illusione, Opus, Anejo, etc.) Nothing HTF is expected but it is obviously welcome.
Budget:
Budget cigars are not the same as dog rockets or yard gars. We are talking about smokes that you enjoy, not things you are trying to get rid of. Most likely less than $10msrp.

Check the lotto section to see what the guys do for each other. I consider it a great show of charity for some.

I kinda wish there was a a lotto in-between budget and premium. The $10 or less is kinda a huge span for just budget. Maybe budget/premium and Super premium. $5 or Less/$10 or Less and $10 or more.

Rules were posted here.

Budget is most likely less than $10, but could be more. Typically these include things that everybody will smoke. For me a budget smoke is Oliva, EPC, Padron thousand series, some Tatuaje, Illusione, etc.

Premium lotto is a little more complicated. They should be sticks over $10 or HTF, etc. I include HTF only because there were sticks made that everyone would be glad to receive that were less than $10 when they came out, but today would trade or sell for more. Examples of premium sticks would include Tatuaje Conjou, monsters, SW, Illusione 4/2G, Padron Anniversarios, Fuente Opus, Ashton VSG or ESG. These are just some examples, to me a premium stick is something that I enjoy occassionally, not an everyday stick.

Loftier is fun. Been doing it for, oh, 6 months and still haven't won. It's just a good time, keeps trades up, builds relationships and all that good stuff.
My numbers will come up one day.

Well stated lol I would never send anything I wouldn't smoke unless its a premium or ltd. edition or just a good cigar I don't happen to enjoy..thank you all for explaining this to me it sounds like a blast and something I would love to be apart of sometime
